Questions buyers ask

Do I need NTEP?

Only if you charge or pay by the weight shown. Internal checks, shipping and inventory counts do not need it. The LS-700 is the same scale without the certification.

What is included?

Platform, indicator, indicator cable, ball-joint feet and power supply, factory calibrated. Ramps, stands, printers and software are add-ons you can configure.

How fast does it ship?

Liberty products ship the same day and arrive in 3 to 5 business days, free to the lower 48; residential, farm and rural addresses may carry an extra charge (see the shipping policy). OHAUS items ship on the maker's lead time. Call (661) 888-1919 for a custom size or a system quote.

Every Liberty floor scale starts with a welded steel deck, four shear-beam load cells and a Liberty indicator, factory calibrated and shipped ready to use. The LS-700 is the general-purpose line for shipping, receiving and inventory. The LS-800 adds the NTEP legal-for-trade indicator for buying and selling by weight, with LS-800-SS washdown and lift-up washdown versions for food, chemical and pharmaceutical floors, and the LS-800-W wireless line where a cable is in the way. The LS-900 is made in the USA, NTEP certified, in steel or lightweight aluminum. The LS-LPX is the ultra low-profile deck for pallet jacks, and the LS-917 is the portable drum scale.

Decks run from 2 ft x 2 ft to 7 ft x 7 ft, plus 4 x 8 and 5 x 8, with capacities from 1,000 lb to 20,000 lb and 30,000 lb on the multi-pack sizes. Ramps, pit frames, printers, scoreboards, stands and data software are added on the product page, or configure a complete system in three steps on a Build Your Own listing. Choose the lowest capacity that covers your heaviest load plus the pallet, and NTEP only when the weight is sold or billed.
