Build your own scale or repair the one you have. Liberty load cells and kits cover the common jobs: the GX-1 NTEP shear beam load cells in large and small envelope sizes, the LS-SB shear beam cells up to 15,000 lb, the LS-720 and LS-WK weighing kits with four load cells, mounting feet and a junction box for a floor scale or a platform up to 10,000 lb, the LS-355 low-profile four-cell kit for a 4,400 lb platform, and the LS-363 planar kit for a 2,500 lb precision platform.

A kit gives you the load cells, the summing box and the hardware; add a Liberty indicator and your own deck, hopper or frame and you have a scale. Match the total capacity of the cells to the load plus the dead weight of the structure, and choose NTEP cells where the scale will be legal for trade.
