The Ohaus Defender 5000 Washdown D52XW50WQR6 is a stainless steel multifunction bench scale for wet and washdown floors: food, seafood, dairy, chemical and pharmaceutical areas where the scale is hosed down after the shift. Capacity 100 lb (50 kg), readability 0.005 lb (2 g); certified readability 0.02 lb for legal-for-trade use. 12 in x 12 in stainless steel platform.
What you get with the Defender 5000 Washdown
- Accuracy you can rely on: NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved, so the scale can be placed in service for buying and selling by weight (your local weights-and-measures office does the placing-in-service check).
- Built to be washed: stainless steel platform and frame, IP67 stainless steel load cell, IP68 stainless steel TD52XW indicator.
- Easy to run: dot-matrix LCD with white backlight and plain-text prompts that walk the operator through each mode.
- Modes built in: weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, checkweighing and dynamic weighing with display hold; a 50,000-item library and 1,000 user profiles; GMP and GLP output with time and date for traceable results.
- Units: lb, kg, g, oz, lb:oz, tons and a custom unit.
- Power: AC power included; optional rechargeable battery, about 20 hours per charge.
- Connects: RS232 included; USB host, Ethernet, a second RS232/RS485/USB port and WiFi/Bluetooth available as accessories.
