Liberty Scales Shipping Policy

At Liberty Scales, we work to get your equipment to you quickly, safely, and at the best possible cost. This policy explains how we ship, expected timeframes, and what to expect for freight deliveries.

Free Shipping

Liberty Scales offers free standard shipping to the 48 contiguous United States on all orders, unless otherwise noted on the product page.

Processing & Delivery Times

Most in-stock orders ship within 1–3 business days. Standard delivery typically arrives within 5–7 business days after shipment, depending on your location and the carrier. Made-to-order, custom, and built-to-spec items may require additional lead time; we will advise you of the estimated timeline at the time of order.

Freight (LTL) Shipments

Larger, heavier items — such as floor scales, drum scales, and platform scales — ship via LTL freight carrier. Standard freight service includes curbside delivery to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift. The following may require additional freight service and a surcharge:

  • Residential delivery
  • Farm, ranch, or rural delivery
  • Liftgate service (when no dock or forklift is available)
  • Limited-access locations or delivery appointments

If any of these apply, please let us know at the time of order so we can arrange the correct service and provide an accurate quote.

Inspecting Your Freight Delivery

Please inspect all freight shipments at the time of delivery. If you observe any damage, note it on the carrier's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading) before signing, and report it to Liberty Scales within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist with a freight claim.

Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories & International

Orders shipping outside the 48 contiguous states — including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations — are quoted separately. Please contact us for a shipping quote before placing your order.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, we will provide tracking information for parcel shipments, or carrier and PRO number details for freight shipments, so you can follow your delivery.

Returns

For information on returning a product, please see our Refund and Return Policy. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a Liberty Scales error or a defective product covered under our 5-Year Limited Warranty.
