Description

The LS-700-6x6-PF is an LS-700 floor scale, 72 in x 72 in, supplied with its pit frame so the deck sits flush with the floor. Forklifts and pallet jacks drive straight over it with no ramps; the frame can also be set above ground.

What you get

  • Platform: 6 ft x 6 ft (72 in x 72 in), welded steel frame with a diamond tread plate top; swivel leveling feet so the deck sits true inside the frame.
  • Pit frame: welded steel frame sized to this platform, set in the concrete before the pour for an in-ground installation, or placed on the floor with optional steel ramps.
  • Capacity and readability: 1,000 lb x 0.2 lb; 2,500 lb x 0.5 lb; 5,000 lb x 1 lb; 10,000 lb x 1 lb; 20,000 lb x 5 lb. Pick the lowest capacity that covers your heaviest load plus the pallet.
  • Load cells: four alloy steel shear-beam load cells, 200% overload protection, 20 ft shielded cable to the indicator.
  • Indicator: LS-7515-C stainless steel indicator with backlit 6-digit LCD; lb, kg and oz; gross, tare and zero; hold; parts counting; accumulation; RS-232 port for a printer or scoreboard; AC adapter included, rechargeable battery optional.
  • Certification: not NTEP, for internal weighing. For legal-for-trade use ask for the LS-800 with a pit frame.

Installation and options

Concrete work is by the customer: a level pit to the frame's outside size and depth (ask us for the frame dimensions before you dig), with a drain if the floor is washed down. Options: heavy-duty frame, steel ramps for an above-ground set-up, stainless steel indicator, load cells and junction box plus waterproofing for wet or outdoor use, LS-25 printer, LS-910 scoreboard, LS-PL-S data software.

Is this scale legal for trade in my state?

NTEP-certified models are accepted by weights-and-measures authorities across the U.S.; your local authority performs the placing-in-service check. Non-NTEP models are for internal weighing.

Can I add a printer later?

Yes. The LS-7510 indicator has an RS-232 port; the LS-25 thermal printer connects to it at any time.
